Linda abseils down Central Park for Kids Camps

Latest news

Linda McAteer raised over $1000 by taking part in the Central Park Plunge held on the weekend of August 9 this year. Brave participants abseiled 220m down the Central Park building in Perth requiring them to have nerves of steel and a whole lot of courage!

Linda’s aim was to make a difference by doing something different! Kids Camps is a cause she feels particularly passionate about and she wanted to do what she could to help this organisation continue its important work.

Kids Camps runs camps for children and young people with intellectual disabilities. The camps are a fantastic opportunity for the children - accompanied by the awesome volunteer camp leaders - to get out into the community and meet new friends, learn new skills and try other experiences. Camp also provides a vitally important service for the families of the campers giving them some much needed respite and time to reconnect with their friends and loved ones.
